Longbeach Mall Couch Jams 2014 / 2015

the Mamma Gogo Initiative, in partnership with Longbeach Mall, celebrated the creative talent of the South which was showcased from 25 to 28 March 2015

Here are some of my favourite pics of the event, most of them taken courtesy of René Maritz Photography

There are so many people to thank in bringing this event to reality.
Janine Davidson, for opening up the space for us, what would we do without you ?
Rene Maritz for your wonderful photos and co-ordinating with all the musicians.
Steve Van for organising the sound sponsorship by Alexo Property Brokers.
Paul Gennrich for the amazing sound engineering feats over the 4 days.
Dylan Posthumus for always being there as a helping hand and the missing part of my brain.

To all the wonderful musicians, thank you for giving of your time and talent. Your musical gifts to the community have not gone unnoticed. Words cannot express my gratitude for your heart felt vibes.

Thank you to all the traders for putting together such amazing displays. I hope the event was advantageous to you all, not only in sales but with the connections and future prospects you also made.

Last but not least, a big shout out to the MammaGogo Initiative which I hope in time continues to become a symbol of hope and upliftment in communities, providing a platform of expression for art and culture.

During the preceding year the Mamma Gogo Initiative, in partnership with Longbeach Mall, celebrated the creative talent of the South; showcased from 25 to 30 Aug 2014 in the display areas of Longbeach Mall.
